User talk:TheAlphaWolf
I decided that I no longer wanted to be a wikipedian after I had a prolonged "discussion" in a talk page. I thought it was an extremely simple and straightforward matter, but I was incredibly disappointed by most (ie. not all) of the wikipedians that participated. I decided that I no longer wanted to belong to a "community" where that "discussion" is even possible. I didn't want to be a mindless automaton without the ability to think for myself and make even the most simple argument without it being called "original research". I didn't want to belong to a "community" where idiots are allowed to perform edits relating to topics currently being discussed, without waiting for responses. I didn't want to have anything to do with a place where someone can completely ignore all my points and just say they "aren't worth even acknowledging"... without anyone even batting an eyelid. I therefore requested that I be blocked. Thankfully, user Nyttend (see below) was nice enough to grant my request. This is the last edit I will make on wikipedia--TAW (talk) 05:29, 14 October 2011 (UTC)
Your block
[edit]Per your request, I've blocked you indefinitely. Should you change your mind, wish to create an alternative account, edit anonymously from this account's IP address, etc., you will have no problems: I've disabled autoblocks to allow you to edit anonymously from this IP address, permitted account creation and email, and kept the talk page editable. If you wish to be unblocked, simply use the {{unblock}} template with the reasoning that your block was self-requested and that you've changed your mind; I can't imagine an admin declining such a request. - Thank you! I never thought I'd be this happy about being blocked.--TAW (talk) 05:29, 14 October 2011 (UTC)
- Looks like Nyttend got you already, enjoy your hiatus; hopefully you will still be a reader! — xaosflux Talk 03:12, 17 October 2011 (UTC)
Ways to improve Chlamydomonas nivalis
[edit]Hi, I'm Elmidae. TheAlphaWolf, thanks for creating Chlamydomonas nivalis!
I've just tagged the page, using our page curation tools, as having some issues to fix. Amazing job - this ia like a perfect virgin birth :) Do you want to see if you can add some categories to the article as well?
The tags can be removed by you or another editor once the issues they mention are addressed. If you have questions, you can leave a comment on my talk page. Or, for more editing help, talk to the volunteers at the Teahouse.
